Blizzard has shared more information on another new Runeword that will be hitting Diablo 2 Resurrected later this year. The newest Runeword unveiled is called Wisdom and is aimed at helping the mid-level gap where there aren’t many gear options available for many classes.
Wisdom was part of the original Diablo 2 according to some rune files that have been data mined, but it only listed the name with no stats. There are a handful of other Runeword names in old files that have been dug up, so there’s a chance there will be a lot more Runewords to make their way into the game from these older files.
Blizzard has been partnering with key content creators in the Diablo 2 Resurrected space to share details on the new Runewords coming into the game, so we can expect more to come along as the days go on.
What does Wisdom Runeword do?
20% Bonus to Attack Rating
5% mana stolen per hit
+30% Enhanced Defense
Lowers Stamina drain by 15%
Cannot Be Frozen
+5 mana per kill
15% damage taken goes to mana
While there are certainly other uses for this helmet, it will be a nice boost to the currently underpowered bow Amazon.
The piercing attack gives you flexibility to experiment with other belts outside of Razortail. The Cannot Be Frozen attribute allows you to make a substitution for the much needed Raven Frost ring while the mana steal opens up options to free that stat up elsewhere in your gear.
How to make Wisdom Runeword
Wisdom is made in a 3 socketed helmet. As with all Runewords, it can only be crafted in a white base. The recipe to create the Wisdom Runeword requires a Pul, Ith, and Eld rune. Once you find your perfect base helmet, insert the above runes in the following order.
- Pul Rune
- Ith Rune
- Eld Rune
